bobo8767 0 Posted August 26, 2008 Not sure if this has already been mentioned. I want to get arma2 on console cause ive always had a crappy comp and have never been able to run arma at a decent graphical level. The only thing keeping me considering pc is the community made downloadable content. Unreal Tournament 3 on ps3 incorporates the ability to download content, import it into the game and install it. i was thinking a similar system to this could be implemented to give ps3 owners the replayability value of the pc version. im not sure if this is possible on 360? .kju 3245 Posted August 26, 2008 From what I know A2 only on PC and xbox360. Better search some news site for more info.
Guest Posted August 26, 2008 From the BI studio website: - Windows - Next generation consoles I really thought this included the PS3 as well, not just xbox360.
ricoadf 0 Posted August 27, 2008 Technically the PS3 is the only 'next gen' console, but lets leave that for another convo. In another topic they confirm that the PS3 will get a release, as for mods, if they code it properly it should be like with UT3, u download the mod, transfer via usb to PS3 and put it into the right location and presto its done. Should also allow PC mods since the game would be coded the same (only graphical differences due to the OpenGL engine instead of DirectX) So theoretically yes, but weather BIS will do it, unknown atm

ricoadf 0 Posted August 27, 2008 No, you have a person that has actually taken the time to check this out (what can I say, I'm into technology and like to know how things work )
