Swapper 0 Posted August 5, 2008 Well, I ordered ArmA: Armed Assault in a box from a site here in Sweden. It arrived yesterday, and when I had installed it and was ready to play it. I got some "ArmA has ran into a problem and can't be continued" like message. And that's basically it. I can't even start the game, because that's what happens. The game is from 505 Games, if it helps. I really need help with this because I just wanna play this awesome game. So, any ideas? Â Do I have to install the updates for it before it will work? Swapper 0 Posted August 5, 2008 I think I know what the problem is, I'll try to reinstall it again and try it. Thanks for your answer, though Edit: It just won't work. Any suggestions?

Swapper 0 Posted August 5, 2008 ATI Radeon +1600 series card 1.09GHz Processor 1,5gb RAM Windows XP Home Edition I'm not really sure about the processor, though. I've been able to play other games that's more 'needy' than this. About the error, it just says (from Swedish to English) "ArmA has ran into a problem and can't be continued". Is this because I haven't installed any patches yet? http://www.easytohide.info/imagehost/images/5ksbvn986bsvf2gnvkw.jpg
kklownboy 43 Posted August 5, 2008 ARMA is about as needy as they come. If thats the real GHZ of your CPU, it will run poor, along with the 1600ATI, which is a lowend GFX for this game. I dont think they would give the the error though.
hamis 0 Posted August 5, 2008 Did you find arma.rpt? If you did you could post lines which start with "error" or warning" here.

Swapper 0 Posted August 6, 2008 Sorry for the double post, but I'm not a patient person. Edit: Alright, I'm gonna change my processor to a better one. Then it should hopefully work.
