suma 8 Posted May 21, 2008 You could get some more information about the crash when you disable automatic reboots in your Computer properties - This is described in detail e.g. on http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic74712.html. However this helps only when your computer reboots itself. If it is completely frozen, I am afraid there is no way to learn what is wrong, however most likely is some driver bug or faulty HW. A few ideas: Using -nomap command line argument might prevent some driver bugs from showing. I would recommend upgrading video and audio drivers, and testing memory using http://www.memtest86.com/ or http://www.memtest.org/ You could also want to check your temperatures are OK and you are not getting CPU/GPU or memory overheating. evans 0 Posted May 22, 2008 I checked everything. The temperature is okay (about 38°),my computer has over the recommended congig.Thinking it might be my processor,i bought a new one.A double Core 4400+ it didn't change anything. For the -nomap it is already on because a use a mod.The original game without -nomap does exactly the same thing. I noticed that some of my game freezed about 30sec with the sound looping and then continued again. i tried waiting about 15min,it didn't start again.I tried to alt tab back to desktop didn't work.I had to do a reset. I tried installing the demo of Arma to see if it would do it do it.The demo worked fine. If I really can't find a solution I guess i will have to buy Arma.
