lone.wolf 80 Posted February 15, 2008 Hi gamerz, Just wanted to know if there aint any other programs for screenshots than Fraps... A free program is preferable... Thanx
rainbow 0 Posted February 15, 2008 Always you can try X-fire. It's a some kind of game communicator with taking photos and recording videos. Ofcourse it's free. I also heard about 3rd party applications for graphic cards. I know Ati tray tools which can take photos but it's only for ATI graphic cards.

HotShot 0 Posted February 15, 2008 There was a thread on this last month in the offtopic section with a few other ideas. Personally I use Fraps as you can also take videos, choose the file type of the shot and it uses very little power, however the uosu133 program eddyd suggested seems to use slightly less resources. Cant get GrapClipSave anywhere though, all dead links.
-ZG-BUZZARD 0 Posted February 15, 2008 I use Grabclipsave only for games which don't tax my resources too much because I've seen it fail, therefore for "heftier" games I use Fraps which, although it causes a small freeze every time it takes a screenie, is dependable to get the screenshot taken with every safety.
