bravo 6 0 Posted February 11, 2008 How the hell would we know? Don't ask the community, ask the game developers. They might know more then the community about this subject I can tell you there were things that were promissed a year ago but now they are in risk to be in ARMA2. So i really don't know what to expect anymore

stakex 0 Posted February 11, 2008 Obviouslly the community dosn't know how far its come in the last year... but we do know since it was first announced back in 2005, ArmA2 (Game2, or "Next Gen PC Game" back then) seems to have taken some giant leaps backwards, at leasti n terms of features promised by the devs. Since then the game no longer takes place in 3 diffrent places with 3 diffrent campagns, and we don't know if the campagin is still going to be totally dynamic as originally planed (Tho we do know its going to be alot diffrent then all previous campagins so it might still be as originally planned). There will be no dynamic building destruction which was the big feature the devs hyped back in 2005... and it seems that also means no dynamic vehicle destruction which was also talked about alot back then. So hows ArmA2 doing? In terms of how its doing since 2005 its not doing so well. The devs hyped alot of really cool features without telling the community they still had massive hurdles to clear on them... and then for 2 years let the community believe they were still in the game. Now suddenly last year we learned alot of the things we have all be looking very forward to are, or might be missing from the game now. So in terms of that ArmA2 is off to a rocky start. how has it done since then tho... thats the question no one knows. We need more info them the devs to have any idea.
