hand held laser range finder

does anyone know of a hand held laser range finder to help with sniping. have searched but only found tank and aircraft lasers. any help would be great.

As far as I know, Pillage is wrong about he laser range finder being in the tankFCS addon. What I was talking about is here.

I think so.  I'm pretty sure that the TankFCS includes the same code but not the actual hand-help rangefinder object.  I think what TOP was looking for was a laser rangefinder he could run around with to aid in sniping.

Find NWD_TankFCS and you will find the handheld rangefinder inside that package.

OK, I'm not guessing here, I'm telling you outright. NonWonderDog's Tank FCS does contain a man portable SOFLAM with range finder (NWD_Rangefinder.pbo) which is exactly what goose was asking for.

NWD's TankFCS thread in the first post says it does not include a seperate laser range finder. That's where I got my information from.

in the game, all the tank stuff works but no hand held. its cool, will wait for one to come out.

There is a hand held one in the link of the post I provided for sure.

I just tested it out. The laser rangefinder is available in the tankFCS mod. The SF Scout has it by default.

Thats true, its not a separate mod, you need to use the new TankFCS. But if you do then you have your portable range finder..

And if you play as the SF soldier that uses the laser you will find it.

Just an FYI, that mod adds the range finder functionality to the Laser Designator, it doesn't make a new object.

I FOUND, VICTORY! it was in the mod all along. it works just fine, however is it dependet on batteries to keep it running. i only get two or three ranges before it goes dead. thanks for all the help.
