hypno toad 0 Posted January 12, 2008 Ok, firs things first, I had to go out today and buy another copy of ArmA because the activation on my last online retail version went ballistic and wouldn't let me play. So I have installed the new one. The game works perfectly, but I have been getting this error when I start up bulldozer. It says <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">"shaders not valid (mismatch between exe and data?)" and then bulldozer shuts down. So, does anybody know how to fix this?
phaeden 0 Posted January 13, 2008 Hmmm... I'm not sure what would cause that. Did you completely remove the old install (including information at root)? It might think you have two different games and can't make buldozer agree with arma. I am not sure. Have you also checked all your paths to make sure they are correct? Lastly, are you using the latest Tools release? Honestly, I don't know.
Planck 1 Posted January 13, 2008 I think this error occurs when you change which version of ArmA.exe you are using, but do not update your p:\ drive with the relevant support files for the updated ArmA.exe. Specifically, the bin folder, the product.bin in the dta folder and possibly the core folder. The bin folder holds the shaders I believe, as well as other files needed. hypno toad 0 Posted January 15, 2008 I am thinking I will just uninstall my BI tools, and reinstall them, that is the only thing I can see working. It is probably some path error that occurred when I uninstalled and reinstalled a new version of ArmA. Thanks for the advice.
