Mousewheel not working.

I was using a standard wheel-less mouse but I got a cheap A4Tech mouse and the wheel is useless. It simply does nothing in ofp.

Got any ideas?

Does the mousewheel work in other applications? (e.g. scrolling in Internet Explorer)

Suggestion: Don't buy cheap peripherals then complain when they don't work properly.

same problem: using SIGMA Optical Mouse (without ball, but cable). Mousewheel doesnt work. cant open/use ACTION Menue with Mouswheel-click. I also can not rebind Mousewheel or any Mouse Key in Options->CONTROLS.

Fire-action works (Left MB) fine.

Mouswheel works with IExplorer etc..

playing OF 1.42.

any ideas ?

In the mouse profiling software set the wheel as MS-Compatible scrolling. (Works for Logitech mice)

I've got the same mouse and the trick is that when you don't install the drivers that came with it, the mousewheel will work.

ditto for the above. I bought a Microsoft Wheelmouse and installed the supplied drivers. The wheel didn't work on any application, until I uninstalled the drivers and let Win98 install default drivers. Now it is sweet on all apps.

Who's complaining? It just wont work with Flashpoint everything else is fine.

What they're saying is: maybe you should uninstall any custom drivers that you installed for that mouse (in case you have) and use the standard MS mousedriver.
