I know you spend more time looking at the loading screens in QG than you had to with a ZX Spectrum but its an aesthetic problem, you'll find a load when the game finally stops loading.

yeah ok but will that cause instability? will it still work online and stuff?

i want to know is there a way to disable these loading screens and then replace them with better ones all within a addon pbo?

i want to do it without editting the DBE1 folder

You can put -nosplash in your shortcut properties...or you can download the TrueView mod that replaces all of the default screens with nice scenic views. It also changes several other functions of game play such as a larger view of NVGs and a larger compass ect.
