horrgakx 1 Posted October 31, 2007 Hi all, I often wondered what the differences in gameplay are between the Normal and Veteran modes?
Sevan 0 Posted October 31, 2007 take a look at the difficulty options. the difference is very customizable.
CzingerX 0 Posted November 1, 2007 Yep, you can customize the enemy ai and your teamates. Under either setting. It's toward the bottom of the options screen I think.
Beagle 684 Posted November 1, 2007 In principle you can configure "normal" to behave like "veteran", but you will be able to save more than once in missions... this is qiuite handy... and you can reduce the A.I. Level lower as 0,75.
BraTTy 0 Posted November 1, 2007 As stated most options are configurable. Usually one plays Veteran and has no ID tags (enemy doesn't show red box) No 3d view, 1st person only And a way to stop your position showing on the map
Commando84 0 Posted November 2, 2007 veteran is more boring imo but sometimes i get annoyed at the green name tags in cadet mode but been to lazy to switch 'em off.
zaphod 0 Posted November 2, 2007 normal and veteran modes can be configured to fit all needs, almost anything can be switched on and off and this is why most server configurations are different...
