My First Attempt on Retex

Hi. this is my first attempt in reskinning, just showing what i've done. nothing much really. wound texture is missing.. dont know what went wrong. How can i fix this?

anyway.. here are the shots

malaysian infantry with banana leaves camo (dont know why they call it that - during 2nd insurgency time 70s-80s i think)

btw, the colours are not suppose to be yellowish.. supposed to be more greenish.

thank you for your kind words gents. i am currently having trouble with missing wound texture... i try to put

class wounds {

tex[]={}

mat[]={bla bla bla}

}

but nothing happens... what am i missing? any help would be appreciated

note: i may release a beta.. gathering feedbacks on what i could improve...

**update**

the wound texture is fixed and soldiers in banana leaves camo are now much darker (greener) than seen in pics.

i think i'll release it next week for public consumption

Please note that I have packed the files as 7zip, the resulting files is much smaller than a rar.

7-zip, is a packer tool similar to Winrar. You can get it from HERE, but the files can also be extracted with Winrar.

Quick and dirty update. Malaysian infantry in desert camo. just change the tiger stripe camo colour. hehe.

next thing to do is the boots colour.

maybe this camo looks have to many greens. from the photo the colour scheme look alot like us 3 color desert camo

For a 'quick and dirty' that looks pretty darn good mate - good luck with the project - they look really cool!

another screen... change colour a bit. changed the boots colour.

seems weird now, with the equipment in different colour. i think i will texture some LBEs to make it look better.

btw those M4 is milkduster's darker m4 pack. and that white thing i think is a bug on his part. maybe untextured bit

Just put an LBE texture. dont know how to make normal maps. those LBE i took from relikki's urban marine. credit to him. thanks man
