hypno toad 0 Posted September 25, 2007 I'm still trying to get the very basics of skinning down, how do I take a .jpeg, and export it as a .paa? I tried opening the jpeg in texview, but it said "Error loading file "the file name" Could anybody lend me a hand please?
MEDICUS 0 Posted September 25, 2007 Convert the .jpeg to .tga TexView should convert it to a .paa after that. MfG Medicus

simba 0 Posted September 25, 2007 Texview2 does the conversion .jpeg----> .paa if you got a loading error, you probably haven't the right proportions, you must use power of 2 numbers. (128*256;128*512;16*16;...)
VXR 9 Posted September 25, 2007 Texview2 does the conversion .jpeg----> .paaif you got a loading error, you probably haven't the right proportions, you must use power of 2 numbers. (128*256;128*512;16*16;...) It does convert it yet, I can remember something about converting from JPG that it wasnt very good for the gameplay. I'm not sure but I think someone here knows more about it.
jasono 0 Posted September 25, 2007 Change the extension from .jpeg to .jpg, I think I had a problem similar to this and TexView didn't recongonise the jpeg, only jpg.
