rfearo 0 Posted September 6, 2007 Hello All, Looking for a little patch help. Can anyone give me a "patch progression" for ArmA? I'm a little confused as there are multiple versions out there and I'm not sure which patches apply to me. I have the U.S. version that I bought directly from the Atari website about a month ago. manzilla 1 Posted September 6, 2007 All you need to worry about is getting patch 1.08 US version. It's the smaller of the 2 v1.08 patches. I may be wrong here but I'm in the same boat as you and the only one I've ever used was the original version and then v1.08. I haven't had any problems to date. manzilla 1 Posted September 6, 2007 I'm not sure but I believe the Int'l version just contains fixes and some features(Armory, A10) that were incorporated into the US version but the other countries versions lacked. Again, I'm not positive about that but I do know it's not necessary to dl the international version. Although I know that people with US version didn't want to wait the few extra day for USv1.08 release and went with the int'l version. If I remember correctly it worked just the same the only difference was the extra 200mb. Either way I don't think it makes to much difference, except for the longer dl time for int'l version. Check the details of the 2 versions at Armaholic.com, that may help you decide which one you want to go with.
