Hi Reaper, welcome to the forum

first, try using the search function there has been a lot of discussion about this subject.

second, amra performance varies alot you will have to use some time experimentin with the video setup in your game until it fits you right...

Uno Wordo: Experimento.

No one can tell you what system spec's you can run at. You have to experiment. The time you waste in this thread checking for replys is time that could be spent experimenting. We cannot know. My 1GB ram is not the same as yours... You have to do it.

I of course have 4GB of ram.. but the difference is the same. Latency's, DDR#, Timings... etc etc.. We cannot determine anything for you. I can tell you that it'll run... with a hand tied behind its back hopping on one foot.

A good place to start would be everything on low, especially if you want long view distances.

It seems that its all about having a certain mix of components that will work together good and give you good performance.

Some people have good pc specs but still cannot get it to run properly. Others have lesser specs and are running at higher FPS.

Its all about having the "special" combination and then your ok.

It doesnt help allot to the question. But thats the experience many of the arma players share.

For instance I myself have a computer that is fairly close to another forum member's pc. Except the fact that mine runs shit and he is able to make videos in good FPS, let alone huge viewdistance...

But someday I guess all the bugs will be modded out.

Takes a look at the first year with OFP...
