No. A rifle will get slung on the back if another weapon is

drawn (eg. you are carrying an M16 and then draw your

pistol), but you cannot select a menu command to make

the guy sling his rifle on his back.

Edit: Corrected spelling of "command" (got commandos on

the brain, just now  smile_o.gif  )

Just to be precise, a good sniper would never carry his rifle on his back (or using any kind of sling for that matter), since it messes up the zero on the rifle (most sniper rifles have flee floating barrels).

Can't be scripted

Easily done, just would have to rotate the proxy on the model

Might mess with some anims, but I don't think so

Thinking again, rifle might be backwards when drawn, would need extra animation phase

IMHO doesn't add nothing to the game

Is he slinging it upside down? pourquoi?

In this case it's purely for the artistic effect (the photo in the

OP is a promotional photo from a movie). This pose lets you

see the whole length of the rifle and its eye-catching

camouflage painted finish presented at an unusual angle (the

rifle is a defining attribute of the character in this movie). As

well as drawing attention to the rifle the photo also

shows off the character's face with his mean and moody

"over the shoulder" expression.

It's just a fantasy adventure film, you should no more expect

a portrayal of reality from it than you would from a

Playstation game.
