Abandoned Armies-styled mission from OFP in ArmA?

I played Abandoned Armies(AA) for awhile when i played OFP some times ago. And so far from releases in some ArmA sites, i never found an RPG-styled mission like AA again.

Does anybody know where can i find such mission(s) for ArmA?

Abandoned Armies took over a year for Thobson to make. I think it will be a while until we see another one like it.

The comparison will obviously be made to Abandoned Armies.

Lee's Punishment Battalion is in the same vein but more of an Abandoned Armies Lite.

Check it out it's very much still a beta but is really worth trying.

I was surprised at how quick something like this came out - well you'll see if you read the thread.

I second that. We'll have to wait a year.. but that is if people like THobson have the drive to make something like that again.... though once they finish, OFP2 will be out... and once they start making something for that.. Arma2 will come out... the drive for mod's/missions (I believe) will drop like flys now.

Punishment Batallion, released over at OFPEC is similar to ArmA and contains a lot of scripts converted from OFP (Ab. Armies) to ArmA.

Why is it so unknown? Don't know, however, people don't seem to accept that a mission like Ab. Armies has been released already .

it's actually pretty popular, as lots of ppl who are still playing OFP today are actually still downloading it (pardon my poor english).

so in a sense, the acceptance is very warm, but maybe because there are too much new addons and missions and scripts were made in day-by-day basis(and taking up space in OFP news sites), the fact that there is a mission as cool as AA was neglected.
