benxcore 0 Posted August 17, 2007 I think you need to add more metal. At the moment, it looks like its light, made out of plastic the same as the toys that you'd find in a Pre-school. Give it more of heavy, metal feeling, instead of just adding a layer of camo over the original skin, and making it transparent, try to detail it more and make it look more vicious. -HUNTER- 1 Posted August 18, 2007 I would remove the camoflage of the barrel though! Great work! But the barrels are switched many times...

Stewy 1 Posted August 18, 2007 Hmmm... Manhunter and Plum are going to hate me - but it looks a tiny bit strange with a pristine barrel and cammed everything else... I guess if we're talking l337 Delta here - they'd probably paint all of their barrels in the barrel bag... Just my 2c guys - I still love it though! Col. Faulkner 0 Posted August 18, 2007 Going by the Rhodesian example (who are the only forces I've seen who habitually paint[ed] their weapons like this in the real world) the MAG 58 barrels were painted too.
Stewy 1 Posted August 19, 2007 I've seen a couple of painted Mag/240s on MP.net - I guess the paint would have to be pretty heat resistant - the barrel / gas system gets pretty hot! @Col Faulkner - do you have any pics of those Rohdesian Mags? I'd love to see them! Stew
-HUNTER- 1 Posted August 19, 2007 Maybee change the camo on the barrel so It doesnt match the camo on the rest of the weapon. Well dont change the colour, but just make it so this is one of the barrels in the bag, that hasnt been sprayed together with this weapon... Still I dont think its as cool as barrel without cam.
