ArmaVidz 0 Posted August 13, 2007 Tried the search feature. Searched for about 15-20 minutes through threads that had nothing to do with what I needed to figure out. My problem is that when I am in the A-10 (particularly) the HUD is completely gone except for the flight path marker (circle). The pitch ladder is completely gone In the Harrier it is better, but it is still almost invisible. Anyone else having this issue? Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated EDIT: Yep Opteryx, I am running an 8800GTS as well
opteryx 1562 Posted August 13, 2007 I've been experiencing the same thing after I started using my 8800gts.
4 IN 1 0 Posted August 14, 2007 guys, i have this problem since very first day BI put HUD into AV8B and SU34, and already stated it a long time ago, heck i even have a bugtracker entry about this problem a long time ago and since it seems to be a 8800 problem i can do notthing to it
opteryx 1562 Posted August 14, 2007 Also, I've noticed HUD parts appearing outside of the display element frame too: I don't remember it looking like that on my old card (6800).
4 IN 1 0 Posted August 14, 2007 seems to related to 8800 Alpha channel problem
ArmaVidz 0 Posted August 14, 2007 Opteryx that's the exact problem I have. Only I just noticed if you look REALLY hard the pitch bars are actually there, just barely visible. Image comparison side-by-side during day: A-10 Stock BIS - No Addons But even though they are there at night the HUD looks exactly like your screenshot. Quote[/b] ]seems to related to 8800 Alpha channel problem But should it be all messed like that? Where it's going outside the usual area where the HUD usually resides? opteryx 1562 Posted August 14, 2007 ArmA + 8800 what a lovely couple ... I hope most of these problems with the 8800 are Nvidia's fault, BIS has enough crap on their hands to fix already, also someone said in the 8800/fog thread that Nvidia would address some issues that are in ArmA and some other games by September, let's just hope they fix this one too... 4 IN 1 0 Posted August 14, 2007 http://bugs.armed-assault.net/view.php?id=2562 here is the entry i am talking about, which dated in may, funny no other 8800 user ever report this
ArmaVidz 0 Posted August 14, 2007 Nice find 4-in-1. You'd think that 8800 users would be screaming bloody murder about that. Video I shot with an A-10 was Chammy's SoundMod, but it was an Ai A-10 and not me. Previous to that, I was running a geforce 7950 GT.
