SniperRedFox 0 Posted July 13, 2007 Actually, Sahrani is mostly Christian, there aren't any Islamic mosques on the island. As a side, I'd estimate Corazol has a population of about 1,550, and Paraiso a population of over 2,100.

Guest Ti0n3r Posted July 14, 2007 I was thinking about something related... What would be realistic estimation of the military numbers of the SLA, RACS, US Army (when the campaign starts) & US Army & Marines (after the reinforcements arrived). Amount of infantry, tanks, choppers etc... What do you people think? All I know is that the SLA got at least 1 Kamov
Krabsworth 0 Posted July 14, 2007 ~2.5 people in each building on the island? ;D Now where is my calculator? 2.5? thats unrealistic. there are those big apartment building with like 10 floors

Not to mention they need hospitals, schools, police stations, fire stations, businesses, factories etc.

See it as a try to get an idea of the maximum of available forces in the scenario based on the main-story. ArmA: Military Forces

SniperRedFox 0 Posted July 14, 2007 I calculated Corazol had a population of about 1,500, and Paraiso a population of about 2,100. 2.5 people per unit is a little high, I'd say about 2.3 people per unit. Remember, northern Sahrani is not a republic, it's a communism, so what would usually be units for singles or poor families would instead be for anyone. Farks 0 Posted July 14, 2007 Like somebody said, the islands size shouldn't be taken literally. If that was the case, ArmA would be pretty unrealistic imo. I think Pariaso is supposed to be a city with a population about 1 - 2 millions, Bagango to. Corazol could have 500.000 or so. The whole population of Sahrani is 10 - 12 millions, if you ask me.
