Which island in OFP is your favorite and why?

Everon looks most home to me, so I find it most immersive.

It's most beautiful at 5:30

However, the other islands are just as important to add contrast. Malden comes second, but only with max sunshine and setviewdistance 2000. Otherwise it reminds me of a clouded summerday, which is very depressing indeed.

I voted for everon, it has a lot of different types of terrain, such as the big hills SE of Everon. Also the castle and stuff make it cool. THere is always something to explore there.

But I like malden with its fjords and little islands (and before mentioned airport)

Strange. Deafult view distance is just enough for me, but i set my view distance to 1500m if i'm making a mission.

Malden looks the best on July at 400, 500, 530 600 with clear sky. It's nice at later hours too, but it looks the best at the morning. Just like Everon or Kolgujev.

And i like summer days. Even with some clouds.

I think Operation Flashpoint´s maps, espacially Malden gives a possibility to create missions without war.

I like to drive just across the map as an civilian and look at the nice landscape.

Please write if you think in hte same way, because I want to publish a civilian mission but I need some help. (I´ve not got the knowhow).

Malden is good for war and for civilians. I dunno about you but civilian mission is a little boring, though.

I like driving around in a jeep too. It's good to know where the hiding places are. Driving around the island is also good for discovering afcourse.

I actually started making civilian mission on malden

it was a stage from FIA Rally Championship but stupid AI drivers pretty much screwed up my whole idea and cars were too fragile

its still unfinished

Voted for Malden. Especially without any fights going on it's really quite and relaxing there. Just walking around in la Riviere in broad daylight puts a smile on my face

Kolkugev is the best

with all those bases and compounds

but the rest looks the same 2 me(except for that airport,there isnt any in Kolkugev:(

Sometimes it is possible (when scouting for new mission areas) to get actually lost and find myself thinking where the heck am I ?

Never had a game where I could get lost and had to take out the map. Allthough I find it hard to get lost on Kogulyev with that one big mountain in the middle....

Everon all the way. Its got everything and try to make your own mission to take Montignac(sp.) THat place turns into Bastonge all over again.
