In the biki it sais: ArmA 1.08.5163 dedicated server for all versions 1.08 can be found here ( http://www.armedassault.com/dwnl_update.html ) But there is no D/L. 5133p39 16 Posted June 29, 2007 I think you need the game to be able to use DS anyway, so, since you probably have the game, then you have the DS too - it's with the game. If your game is older version than 1.08 (you haven't updated it yet to 1.08) and you want to use 1.08 DS, then you need to update the game files anyway, so download and apply appropriate 1.08 patch and you will get the 1.08 DS - it's contained in the patch. ...at least i think so. ManDay 0 Posted June 30, 2007 just edit the arma.profile with the settings you need. ok - its the arma.profile then - but how can i have two different profiles. one for normal playing and for the deddy server? €: which file is this? can't be the file in my personal profile folder - is it? as the deddy isnt commanded to use any certain profile it has to be somewhere else. do you know where? €: Is there a way to turn of the vegetation on the server? ManDay 0 Posted July 1, 2007 Uhhm - yes - this is a deddycated server - nomatter on which machine its running. "dedicated" means that the server is dedictated to hosting and not to playing. thats just what i do: start a dedicated server start arma and connect to my server.
