save tool

Hi,

i asked that already before but i cant find the subject anymore

Anyway,

do you know if there is a save-tool (press button x and quick-save) for ArmA out yet ? There was one for OFP and i love it.

(It simply renamed the save-file, so you could save again.)

I know i got unlimited saves on "easy" but i want to play in "veteran"-mode.

you'll know it works when a savegame message comes up on screen

Thanks, but saving with the "one-button-ofp-save-tool" is much more comfortable without all the typing. Don't you think so ?

It doesn't seem to work in ArmA, at least it didn't when I tried it. The message shows up, but it doesn't save.

Indeed the savegame cheat seems to be broken. I tested it in 1.05.5136 in both cadet and veteran modes and in both of them I get the message 'Activated savegame' but it doesn't save.

But I am sure I already used this in ArmA... it must have become broken as a result of the patches.

hmm, where are those "script-kiddies" ? we only need some lines of code that renames the save-file...
