shadow 6 Posted February 15, 2002 The only problem I got in v1.40 and 1.42 is that I'm unable to host MP. "Starting Server" only flashes on screen and won't start. Doc Holliday 0 Posted February 16, 2002 I've had the same problem also. It turned out in the end to be someone's network card which was stuffing up everyone else. I'm not sure how that happened but we removed the card and reinstalled on the next boot up, so now we can have multiplayer sessions again. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

shadow 6 Posted February 18, 2002 1.42 is just fine for me hehe I figured out what was wrong about the MP-hosting on my computer. OFP 1.40 and 1.40 behaves differently to you network-protocols than any of the older versions. In 1.40 and 1.42 you have to set TCP/IP for your network-card as default protocoll or OFP won't use it.
