kocrachon 2 Posted June 2, 2007 So I am in the mission maker messing with weapons, and I notice a laser designator, now my friends aren't on right now to test this with me, but I was wondering what it does? Does it site in for the AV-8 and A-10 for their missiles or do I have to set some sort of triggered event? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

TankCommander 3 Posted June 2, 2007 Yeah I played around with this having an AI SF recon lasering some armour and when you're in the AV-8 or whatev, you need to drop your payload when there is the proper target lock which is just a square. Infam0us 10 Posted June 2, 2007 Make sure the laser Designator is loaded with a battery, click the target area so you see the red dot. Then inform the pilot the target is lased, then he has to lock on to it, the same as any other target and release his payload fairly high up before he flies over the target.
