Maraudeur 0 Posted May 20, 2007 I realised today that I had no more the menu " objects " available in the editor. Can't say since when exactly... I uninstalled the game, every folder related to ARMA then used RegCleaner, did fresh install ( version 1.04 ) alll of this twice and... no more objects available anymore. Please help ? Maraudeur 0 Posted May 20, 2007 Sorry, I put it wrong. I mean I lost the menu " empty " under which one could find ammo crates etc.
Chris Death 0 Posted May 20, 2007 Yeah, that's because you probably have no player unit on the map. This sometimes happens when merging or copy/pasting a player unit onto the map. ~S~ CD

fasad 1 Posted May 21, 2007 you must have a player unit on the map, then: side : empty class : ammo all "units" available are ammoboxes

smellyjelly 0 Posted May 21, 2007 Just wondering, why is the editor missing so many objects? Shouldn't buildings, trees, and many other objects have been included? Also, when placing down some objects, why don't they line up correctly? They look perfect in the editor, but when I preview the mission, there is a large gap between them. Ingame they look perfectly lined up. It's not much of a problem, but I though I'd bring it up
Skip_Moniker 0 Posted May 22, 2007 Adding an Air Attack group I know they don't line up where you put them. Not sure about other units. Cobra's get scattered around the area while the editor shows them together in a neat row. One of mine was dropped inside a hangar. I managed to fly it out through the large door anyway. Screwy thing is, when I wanted to put one inside a hangar I couldn't. It's all by chance seemingly.

Doubleclick the units and change "In formation" to "None" (or "Flying" if u want them to be airbourne when mission starts) for each unit in the group  .
