Description: Retake South Part of Sahrani. Complete all 11 objectives!

Welcome in South Sahrani! Play as OPFOR side and retake South Sahrani from USA hands! 11 objectives including destroying ammo depots, killing enemy officer and big battle near Corazol and Ortego! Soldier, remember: only pilots can fly, so cooperate. Don't be selfish.

INSTALLATION

To begin using the Software:

1. Move the coop18-aces.Sara.pbo into the following directory:

\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\MPMissions\

Things to add in full version:

- random land, air and water patrols

- more "untypical" objectives

- bonuses for players (extra points)

It's early beta version, but playable and stable. There can be still some errors or bugs. Hope you will tell me about them.

Things to fix:

- Officer mission bug - Unit make suicide by walking near wall

- Reloading Ka-50 bug - Heli need to be destroyed if player want rockets

1.00 version released!

This is first stable and full playable version of ACES. So enjoy. There is a lot of fixes. List od changes:

- Team Status Dialog by Dr_Eyeball added and fixed

- Problem with officer in hotel fixed

- Respawn settings are now stricted

- About 20 friendly units deleted to make game run smoother

- Mission tuned to 1.08 standards

- Players gain extra points by completing objectives (player must be in objective area!wink_o.gif

- Only pilots can fly Su-34

- Medics removed to make game a little bit harder

- Varial draw distances

Hi

It's strange, because I deleted this script form folder and there is no unit using this script. Check that you downloaded last version (1.00) of mission and try restart mission. I don't have any error messages after playing ACES about 2 hours.

Thx. I'll test it soon.

One question: did you implement some kind of tolerance to detect clearing town..Etc ?

Something like : you just need to kill 95% of the soldiers to consider an area secure ?

It's so frustrating to have to spend a lot of time to find a lone soldier hidden or stuck somewhere.

Nope, but I'll think about it. There is no so many enemies in towns (and there are only 4 objectives like this). So if you play with 5-6 players you can use air support for it.

Also, trigger of areas are very limited. You can complete objective by killing only few enemies, rest of them could escape from battle zone.

You have ammo trucks in one of hangars. Use them. Note that in ArmA there is a bug, that you can't rearm your vehicle or you''ll need to wait couple minutes to do it. Or you can fly with and eject to prevent spawn new Su.

Also it works well with Ka-50 (Rockets rearm very slow but "do-able"). Su-34 has problem sometimes.

Note that I resign from rearming zones to make game a little bit harder. There were few objectives that you could complete them using only planes. Now infantry has more work to do.

Man, this was my longest and best mission I ever played until now since 2001 in OFP/ArmA.

I played it for 14 hours and got it! Alone!

Chlopie jak masz jeszcze wiecej takich misji, to dawaj!

Hello,

I enjoy this mission very much but I'm having a problem, I can't complete the Steal the car objective. I went to where the car is (a Land Rover) and I drive it to the airbase but nothing happens - The objective doesn't appear as completed in the mission briefing.

Am I doing something wrong? What are the steps needed to complete this objective?

By the way, I also have a suggestion:

The AIs when they die, they should spawn at the home base (airport) instead at the place where they died.
