sas_razor 0 Posted February 14, 2002 The host needs control of AIs for both sides or at least an overide. Every multiplayer game I host I have to ask the same question. "Is your AI off" - cant I just turn it off? Razor
nordin dk 0 Posted February 14, 2002 Seconded! The admin should have that ability.
suchey 0 Posted February 17, 2002 100% agreed....or give the admin the ability to turn ai off completely from the start for those servers which run exclusively player vs. player format.
Rage_Frost 0 Posted February 18, 2002 You have my vote. Maybe make it so the ai are off all the time. So lets say someone jumps in the sniper spot then thinks hmm rpg I want that so when he leaves the sniper spot the ai is turn off auto. maybe an option for the editor guys like for some missions like CTF DM ect ect hell if i could add it I would add it for my CTF missions. But have an option in the editor again for coop but you would be able to turn it off if you wanted to like it is now... Just my two cents
awk221 0 Posted February 20, 2002 put a string disabledAI=1; in description.ext files îf missions that you run on your server.. that may help
suchey 0 Posted February 20, 2002 Ive seen missions where the ai is all disabled...unfortunately, they are few and far between.
Lt_Damage 0 Posted February 21, 2002 Definately! I am an admin of a dedicated server based in NZ and that is really annoying. Basically you just need a *lot* more control in the admin's hands. Not just kicking / dragging but the ability to force "im ready" for the user if they are AFK. A very good map that has AI disabled by default is "A Cold Day in ####" CTF, very nice work.
