Just to put everyone strait, the best tank is the Challenger 2 from the BA. With its "Chumba" armour, which is classified above me, it is capable of withstanding a hit from any other MBT, both from a HEAT and a sabot round, of which it fires both. And then it has many other types of round, paraflare, indencery. And it also has the best way of making smoke, not using a shell, but the engin. Its realy cool.

i think you are talking about a chobham armor no ?

all the mbt have different types of rounds

all the tank can make smoke with their engine without any modification

but i think that the best way for making smoke is a fumigen launcher wich can be reloaded and don't burn the fuel for stupidities because a tank can always be detected in a smoke cloud with ir systems

ever touched a tank when its running. Its hot alright, the cloud is for use against infatary etc. Yeah thats the armour, i saw a breakdown of it after it had been shot by sabot at 50m it was intact at the final 2 layers not bad huu. Only problem, it weighs a lot so its not used all the time. most things can use it though. Like the Warrior and the AS-90

hehe , when i was in the infantry , during the basic training one of my instructor has said that if a tank is making smoke to hide , you only have to shoot in the middle of the smoke cloud

that's right a big part of time

Hmmm well bmp3 does that aswell l think for infantry to get out in a safer way. Well it stills saves your ass from laws or rgps. Anyway atmospherical conditions can make them tank not to be in the middle

eg. While running you would expect most of the smoke at the back side and also air flowing could change it also.

lol that's right to , but the tank crews use the smoke only when they are in the shit

and don't forget that some infantry at missiles have ir aiming system

and it work in both ways , if the infantry cannot aim the tank , the tank cannot aim the infantry

Umm yeah, the Challenger use is it to unload troops. NOT. Its used for combined arms offensives, it will protect any infantary that are working with the tanks or protect other friendlies that cant do it themselves.

The Panther still looks the coolest. No Soviet tank looks cool especially when you look at the crew. Soviet Uniforms have always been unimpressive. If wars were a fashion show the Germans would have taken over the world multiple times.

If you had read it, which from your posts seems to be something which you don't do, he said that the BMP-3 uses a similar system, not that unloading troops was what the Challenger II does.
