maukings 0 Posted May 2, 2007 So I'm creating a mission but the opfor TANKS won't cross the bridge i'm pointing them to cross. They follow all the waypoints up until that point where they turn left or right and sit there. Whats the trick to this?
maukings 0 Posted May 2, 2007 i tried to put the tanks on the bridge and they spawn under the bridge
baddo 0 Posted May 2, 2007 One quite certain way is to take full control of the movement of the tanks with setPos and maybe with some other commands too. Not a good solution but, it's a solution.

NeMeSiS 11 Posted May 2, 2007 Put them in safe mode, put a move waypoint on the part where the bridge and the road overlap, do the same at the other end of the bridge, put waypoint to their final destination. Worked for me a while back with infantry.
Big Dawg KS 6 Posted May 2, 2007 It wont work untill patch 1.07 comes out. which is very soon. I must have a possessed copy of the game then, cause my v1.05 AI love to drive over bridges. If their behaviour is "SAFE" or "CARELESS", armor will follow roads (and thus cross bridges), if not you have to direct them over the bridge with WPs. If you put one WP at the beginning of the bridge and one at they end and there's no easier route around (and no obstructions), they should take the bridge.
