zyklone 1 Posted April 24, 2007 I think it will be quite a while until we get it. The last release of anything for linux by BI was in July 2004. Dedicated servers stopped being ported for linux then, the reason posted was that the linux development environment had crashed and noone familiar with it was around to fix it. I suspect the linux knowledge has left the company. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it but wait and hope someone gets around to porting it again. The latest Linux version was the exact same than the latest Windows version. In other word, there was no more needs for more Linux dedi, exactly like there was no more need for Windows dedicated. Johnnie_Walker 0 Posted April 25, 2007 Nothing has been done for dedi since, be it Win or Linux 1.96a - Improved: MP - Protection against hacked/invalid player IDs 1.96a - New: #debug version command can be used while logged as admin (both voted or real) to check server version 1.96b - Improved: MP: Implemented more anti-cheat and anti-hacking measures. 1.96c - Improved: MP: More anti-hacking measures.
