Anyone use track IR in OFP?

Recommended Posts

it should be here tommorrow..

basically you put a small reflective dot in yer head (im putting it on a hat) and a infared reciever sits on yer monitor.. and whereever you look on your monitor.. thats where yer mouse goes..

I bought it for looking aroud the cockpit in IL-2 but it seems it could be fun in OFP.. and its scalable.. so you can set it to moving yer head just a touch will move the mouse 2, 3, 4, 10 inches... so I think it migh be a pretty nifty gadget..

anyone try one?

mine too.. via hatswitch (4 of em).. but I still think it would be neat to have the freedome to literally look around without having to mash any buttons..

Sounds pretty nifty, only when you move your head left or right, your going to be straining to keep your eyes on the monitor when your head is facing away from it smile.gif

Bleh but like you said, its scaleable. How much was it?

dumb gadget.. just think.. insted of using your mouse in ofp you would aim where you look just lik in real life... you wouldent need your mouse at all. both hands on the kayboard.. much more options.. etc etc..

and if it fired yer brain.. well at least ya wouldent know it.
