Fixed weapons

Pisture a MG on a tripod standing 3.5' high, now picture a HMMV driving full tilit as said MG, then pictute HMMV coming to a standstill on hitting said MG............

I think a re work of the fixed MG physics mayu be required.

this can be seen in particular in the side mission where you have to attack the enemy camps with the two HMMV's, try attacking the first camp where the MG is free standing on a tripod, i was amazed to be stopped from full tilt by tripod!

i would sugest to you that this is trouble shooting, its a physics issue, that is more of a minor bug. Bug being an issue?

search and check if its on the bug tracker, then if it isnt, submit it and BIS will look into it ! Really useful for fixing bugs + getting them fixed

I would return to you that it's an example of a non-feature. Bugs are problems within the design parameters of the software. If this is not in the design parameters, then it's not a bug. Win XP doesn't vaccuum my house and wash my car... is this a bug? I do agree with you that it's a little strange, though.

Like the above poster, if you feel like it's a bug you can always try the bug tracker.

I agree that windows was never designed to wash or hoover, yet i do insist that if windows software had an unexpected output such as pressing a y key outputed wtfwtf11111, you would say its a bug, therefore when i ram a tripod for a free standing weapon and it stops the vehicle, the output of the action is not expected and therefore a bug.

Anyways its on the bugtracker and has the attention of the bug tracker team.

@ Jack-UK might have to pop by and see how its going, havent changed my user name since leaving, but hhavent been back on these forums either.

In your eyes maybe, but the weapon was never designed to fall over

It is quite odd but i doubt its going to be changed.
