Lepardi 0 Posted April 5, 2007 Why? BIS being lazy on that?
klamacz 448 Posted April 5, 2007 Why? BIS being lazy on that? Â Just ask yourself "who's making Ati drivers? And why I thought that BIS is the one."
walker 0 Posted April 5, 2007 Hi Lepardi BIS make ArmA; a piece of software. ATI another company make your ATI Graphic card; a piece of hardware and they also make the drivers for their hardware. I use ATI cards at the moment a 9700 on a laptop and an X1950 pro on a desktop both work very well. 6.7 Does not have handle leak It is the later drivers. There is already an ATI Driver thread. Search helps. I will ask a moddie to merge this for you. What card do you have? Have you updated your Driver? Which Driver do you have? What is the reported handle size increase you get; over what period? Are you having a problem other than handle size increase? Kind Regards walker
Lepardi 0 Posted April 5, 2007 Why? BIS being lazy on that? Just ask yourself "who's making Ati drivers? And why I thought that BIS is the one." Dude, I meant that they're being lazy because they haven't asked ATI to fix the problem.
killswitch 19 Posted April 5, 2007 Dude, I meant that they're being lazy because they haven't asked ATI to fix the problem. In this very forum there's a sticky post conspicuosly titled "ATI driver bug - handle leak" in which Suma, on February 26 this year wrote: Quote[/b] ]The bug is confirmed by the ATI team and they are working on a fix. walker 0 Posted April 5, 2007 Hi all Quote[/b] ]Quote (Lepardi @ April 05 2007,22:58) Dude, I meant that they're being lazy because they haven't asked ATI to fix the problem. In Fact BIS were the first to discover and report the bug. Sorry all I thought Lepardi had an honnest problem. I now see he had not checked the thread and so did not undertand the bug. Accusing BIS of being lazy is a little bizzar though. Perhaps Lepardi would like to reconsider his post; say he was sorry for waisting our time and making mistaken accusations and ask for the thread to be locked?
