Terrible Performance

Yo.

I'm gettin like 10-15fps after installing 1.05, where beforehand i was getting 30 - 50 in the same areas.

Anyone know what's goin' on?

Join the club, this game has great potential if they ever get it right but I really cant be bothered until they do.

I should not have stick most stuff on low on an E6600 3.2ghz and 8800 ffs.

I've only got;

AMD64 3500+

1GB Corsair XMS3200XL

ATi X1950XTX

But as i said, it ran nicely before, and now after 1.05, BAM... insane performance hit.

Even my MENU slows down now!

I'm reverting back to 1.04 to find out how much of a performance hit 1.05 really is.....at the moment patch 1.05 seems to have reduced alot of the "eye candy" and viewing distance also seems to have reduced with more haze

Will a retail version be re-released with patch v1.06 pre-installed ?

For me too Arma is unplayable with the 1.05 patch. I reverted back to 1.04 and decided to cope with the insane difficult A.I. instead

All you need to do is set post effects to "low" then every thing is fine.

I tried setting my post processing to low, made no difference to me.

The whole point of 1.05 for me was the fixed AI.

And now it runs like utter crap... so i can't play it. Booooo.

EDIT: Here's a screenie... 17fps :/

This is at 1024x768

Everything full, except no Anti Aliasing (is there AA? I don't remember). View distance MINIMUM (500?).

In 1.04 i was getting about 35/40 in the same area. Same graphics settings, but with the view distance at 1200.

Pic is only 12k over the limit, i hope that's ok.
