110 0 Posted February 8, 2002 When i waz in ze ahmy we carried 6 rifle mags and four grenades. in ofp its the opposite. i wish there was a patch to correct this. I wholly agree with Assault(CAN) on the 9mm mags. i thing you should carry at least 8 mags. 110-who seconds the FN FAL and G3
Mister Frag 0 Posted February 9, 2002 And the Grenadier should have more 40mm rounds for the M203 as well -- there are a number of tactical vests that carry 24 rounds, such as this one: http://www.assaultvest.com/40MM.html
moerty 0 Posted February 9, 2002 oki that vest is very nice, i would like to take that many grenades into the field with me. but id' hate to get shot, i figure you have to explode with at least the intensity of 2 satchel charges haha.

I would be more concerned with the weight of the 24 grenades+the Rifle/M203+all your personal kit. I would hat to lug all that crap around, I'd prefer the FN minimi over the M-16/M-203 combo.....Just my opinion. Have a nice day! Tyler
Corp.Pihla 0 Posted February 9, 2002 When I served my time in the army (as a BMP-2 gunner) tank crew had only 9mm F&N pistol with 3 mags. Well, I personaly think it is enough, cause I personaly wouldn't go to frontline on foot. And if the tank is disabled, there are enough ammo to make it back to friendly side of the lines... If not, you could allways save one ammo for yourself... Personaly on OFP I like Dragunov...

Tyler<span id='postcolor'> Assault rifles are too accurate, by my opinion. I would like to see those heroes who shoot so accurately under fire. Firing range and combat are kinda different situations. Yep. the grenade's kill radius is in optimal (read open) conditions 18m. Anyway, IRL they're not nukes, just grenades. They're mostly for suppression and usually they cause casualties by wounding not killing personnel.
OperationFPoint 0 Posted February 9, 2002 I would like to see this gun.... A P90 with a 50 bullet clip and 200m accuracy... But I don't think they had this gun in 1985..... Â shucks... Â
