Phisics bug

Sometimes game physics does really odd things:

- Simulation just won't end - something is caught in a loop and just keeps on bouncing and bouncing and bouncing...

- M113 got tossed about 50 meters into air after colliding with Abrams tank. It landed intact and the passengers exited the vehicle normally - as if nothing had happened! Poor M113 ended up upside down, but intact.

- People get tossed high into air too from time to time.

I have no idea what causes this. It just happens occasionally.

I dont know much... but i think many of these physics problem is CPU related. Like someone said that the AI will screw up depending on how the CPU is doing. Maybe its the same with the physics?

I've never had any of those flying-tanks problems at all. Perhaps maybe one or two but its always when i',m sort of forcing the tanks into a bustop or a tight corner. The common physics bug i get is when the turret pushes against a building and the tank flie a few metres away and wobbles like a ship.

I've experience a couple of moments like that, sitting on top of hill sniping and then suddenly seeing a jeep fly across in front of scope about 5 metres off the ground.

I have been in tank where it's happened, I was going over a bridge then all of a sudden I was up in the air flying, landed and carried on driving!

ahahaahah this reminds me of a time in Obregon when we blowed up the bridge in MP.

I was driving a UAZ and the person next to me wanted me to drive off the broken bridge. So i backed up a little, went full speed ahead and the UAZ smashed into the opposite bridge column. The car didnt explode though, dropped like a rock and we came out at the bottom of the bridge without a scratch.

btw it seems to me that the Littlebirds never explode after freefalling from the sky... but i like the fact that spinning propellers can hurt you.

I've got a weird problem, I know it's not caused by ArmA vanilla cause it's related to an addon.

Everytime I put an reskinned UAZ, whether it is rellikki's or RHS' reskinned UAZ, on a mission which is hosted on our dedicated server, I see them flying over the floor around 2 or 3 meters high.

I'm the only one who has this problem, my teammates don't see this, we all have the same addons needed to join the game, I tried with no other addon, it happens every time on dedicated server and only to me.

I must add that any other reskinned vehicle I put on along with the UAZ don't cause this problem, I only have this problem with the UAZ. I had this problem on my older PC, now I've got a new one and the problem is the same.

Does anyone experience that "flying UAZ" thing ?

Does anyone have solved this problem ?

So? That's nothing! In Queen's Gambit, I was at the part where I was chasing down the queen, and I was crossing over a bridge between Corazol and Paraiso. I drove over the bridge, and the end of the bridge was not aligned correctly with the end piece attached to the terrain. I drove over that bump and my HMMWV did a complete backflip and landed wheels-down, and I kept driving along the road as if nothing just happened. I still caught the queen!
