Marus 0 Posted March 4, 2007 Its realy confusing for me why you change the old OFP key settings to this new ArmA way. If i had installed OFP, i never needed to set any changes for the keys, but in ArmA i spend more time on finding working settings, insead of playing the game. Why is there no simple, smart key combination like in OFP? OFP e.g. running forward = cursor up fast running forward = cursor up + right shift Plz Bohemia, have a look on your own product again, and change the controls back to OFP. e.g. Lean Left/Right, can be set like in Locke@germany mod = cursor left/right + right shift. There is no need to make the game more difficult to controle. And which moron removed "right STRG" as button to select the firemode? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Blanco 0 Posted March 4, 2007 Actually in Arma 1.05 you can combine the Right shift key with any other key. And I use the same 2 keys to lean and roll, because you can't roll when crouched and standing up and you can't lean when you're lying down. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

celery 8 Posted March 4, 2007 For all I care, the controls can be assigned to all the buttons in alphabetic order and I'm still going to see which controls suit me best. Default controls are just a template, something that is there instead of blank buttons. They can be changed, you know. What is STRG? In OFP the fire mode switch has always been space bar. I set "walk or run temporally" on the right shift key When I push the up arrow I run, with the right shift + up arrow together I walk.
