Danbri 0 Posted February 23, 2007 Hi! I have been complaining about releasing a game this buggy, but after playing a few training missions (still with enormous graphic bugs) I do have to admit that there is a great game beneth the commotion. Well as good as OFP wich I think is the best game ever released. However, I do want to see some reply from BI though, regarding this problems that so many aparently experience. Mad_Reizka 0 Posted February 26, 2007 Yeah, I have been enjoyin it too. Same thing was with OFP, it just got better and better after you installed few patches.
Chris Death 0 Posted February 26, 2007 I'd rather prefer them fixing the bugs than wasting their time by chit chat replying in the forums - if ya ask me. Â There's the BIKI bug report where you should report bugs and not the forums to speak about what somebody is thinking about a bug (except the comunity) but not BIS. :edit - btw i just realised that this thread is in troubleshooting forum and not in general (what i was thinking when first replying) and imho it's not really troubleshooting related in any way. ~S~ CD
Tracer 0 Posted February 26, 2007 Well i finaly finished 'blood sweat and tears' (SP mission which i had tried many, many times but was too buggy to complete) and the potential was superb! The most annoying thing is because of the extra dense vegetation, (unlike OFP which was a lot easier to find hiding soldiers) the enemy 'strays' into woods etc and a mission just wont end unless you kill -generaly one solitary soldier! So i find myself tearing about using time accel, criss-crossing up and down so that i (hopefuly) stumble across this missing enemy and either get shot at or killed. Either way i just load and then finaly end the mission. That realy kills the whole thing that ArmA is about; immersion.

SUMA has recently been writing about a fault in the ATI-drivers, and that is a big step forward in my eyes. Seems to be a great game nontheless.
inthecutt 0 Posted February 26, 2007 with bis you just have to work with them and wait to they finish fine tuning the game but once they do you got one helluva military sim. the closest competitor to AA is the ghost recon but its a little on the unrealistic side. i played my copy of aa for the first time last night and i just cant stop thing about how to complete this one mission. with that in mind i think im to leave work early just to play it
