Inc_Cat 0 Posted February 6, 2007 Hi all Just updated my Trend Antivirus, and now I am getting warning when I enter the Armed Assault website. Warning is "Tried to open a damaging website" Adress: http://toplist.cz/dot.asp....Assault Credibility - dangerous Category - Ad program/joke What is this about.. some hidden links in the arma website, or some sort of hit counter to make top lists? EDIT: This is the only site I get this warning on, and my system is clean of any Trojans or similar.
feersum.endjinn 6 Posted February 6, 2007 Looks like just 1x1 GIF used for tracking purposes. Probably they just blacklisted whole domain for whatever the reason. Firefox + NoScript = no worries though
Timblesink 0 Posted February 6, 2007 That link you gave links to a 1x1 .gif picture Maybe it doesn't matter that you can't see a minuscule picture?
Inc_Cat 0 Posted February 6, 2007 The domain is definately blacklisted, question is why? And even more so, why does the armedassault.com need to have a 1pix image with refferal to a toplist.cz site? Definately some sort of hidden tracker or other means to rize on lists. What does the toplist.cz site contain - I cant even get into that site.
Dwarden 1125 Posted February 6, 2007 is local "ranking" site based on visits ... nothing dangerous contact whoever blacklisted it as they simply blacklisting wrong site ...
