predator887 0 Posted January 24, 2007 Does this game support dual core technolgy? Obviously it will run on machines that have dual cores but does it have the hyperthreading (i think thats what it is called) technology to allow it to take full advantage of the dual cores like for example R6 Vegas? Pierrot 0 Posted January 24, 2007 I've heard that XBOX360 and PS3 manage sound proccessing in one of their cores. Although they do not have a sound card something like Sound Blaster, they can play 512 wave files simultaneously which exceed 128 wave files of Sound Blaster. ArmA seems to use only one core and other cores are almost idling. So how about using the idling core for sound proccessing like XBOX360 and PS3? I guess sound proccessing is quite independent of game proccessing so both cores will be used effectively.
