Perpetua campaign for ArmA

Story:

As a young CO of RACS, you will participate in the great war of Sahrani. You lead an elite squad as a spearhead of RACS troops. You are the first.

After the collaps of Soviet Union, the Northern regime of Sahrani started dieing. The commies had financial problems without the Big Brother and the Southern politicians had a dream about the reunion. They start negotiate and the Fist Secretary of Sahrani Communist Party didn't deny the negotiate. But since 2000 the negotiation stucked and the communists was stronger and stronger...

Great job bardosy, I'm not sure but is this the second user made campaign for ArmA, anyways nice to see you back on campaign editing in ArmA.

i just played the first mission of it and there some thing i would like to mention.

First of all you should give an Introduction, what is the political situation,what year.Next you MUST take a look at your english writing !Nevertheless it would be best to make audio files.The way that took me to Bonanza got a bit boring in the meanwhile i boiled some water in my kitchen and did the dishes, that means u should shorten the way by fading out/in at certain positions, so that the player just drives a 30sec e.g.The meeting with LT Ibanez and Gomez failed coz i didn´t know to whom Gomez was speeking .He didn´t stand in front of anybody -> camscene i would suggest!

The way by foot up to the mountain is after the long way in the car a bit annoying, try to make the way more intresting -> camscene/getpos setpos etc.

The first mission of a campaign should always be a real hammer, coz it is the opener and that is the point the player decides to play on or to leave it, don´t care about what is coming next!

So you made a beginnig of your campaign and u ve a root, now let the root grow.... and start fine tuning.

Thank you Nephris for you advices!

I thought a campaign need an "intro" mission, like in the official campaign. When the player realize the peace ended and the war begin.

But I really understand what you said about the first mission and the first impression, so I will insert a short, but intense shoot-out before the first mission and the end of this mission a titlecut will say: "one week earlier..." and then start the Bonanza mission.
