granQ 293 Posted January 19, 2007 RO the mod or RO the game? If the game, then you need to pipe down there. it doesnt matter really. It still the unreal engine.. (and its really good but i doubt realistic deflection for wwii tanks was something the devs thought about). OFP was lacking alot on the damage side and i was hoping ArmA would be better but seems like more visual effects while keeping the "shortcuts", so instead of simulating or make real deflection, you just write a deflection=20% chance, not a good way to solve it. MehMan 0 Posted January 19, 2007 It does matter, because RO got a licence for the Unreal engine and that means they can modify it too . I do agree that ArmA is lacking in armour. I was hoping for directional armour, which would be awsome, but alas, the hitpoint system remains. Dunno, I'm guessing we've expected too much from BIS.
