wasserkool 1 Posted December 11, 2006 Reading the troubleshooting forums just makes me chuckle. I can't believe that peopel are whining and complaining about this game's visual and performance when their own hardware is absolute crap. I am not making fun of those people with older hardware. But to accuse a well-made game like ArmA suck because your old Radeon 9200, 9600, 9700, X800 or 6600, 5200, GF3&4 or a low end 72xx series cannot handle the game deserves a slap on the face. Its time to wake up, you are not going to be able to max out the details of this game or ANY new games with old hardware. Do not blame on the publisher, or the hardware, it just means the time has come for you to ugrade and keep up with the loop!
Stealth3 0 Posted December 11, 2006 Your thread is useless. It just wasted space on this forum. Your telling us that everything below a 7200 is obsolete. What planet do you live on?
Odie3 0 Posted December 11, 2006 Well, on the back of my box it states: "CPU: 2ghz * RAM 512MB * NvidiaFX Geforce/ATI 9500 128MB bah bah bah" While my home PC is greater than this my office PC is a P4 3.4 Extreme, 1GB Memory, and a ATI 9600 Pro - and the game is impossible to be played. There are all kinds of odd texture issues going on. So, yes assuming you have the minimum specks you have every right to complain and to be perhaps a bit pissed. Cause if the game is not playable at the minimum then that is false advertising. Quote[/b] ]Your thread is useless. It just wasted space on this forum. Goldenwings2002 0 Posted December 11, 2006 There is a fix for this crappy fps and bad texture loading. Check out my post in the Troubleshooting section. Make sure you have the latest nvidia drivers and set your drivers settings the same as mine. Turn AntiAliasing down in the game to low and go test it out. Odie3 0 Posted December 11, 2006 oh, my home PC works just fine [at a mix of mostly low settings]. However, my lower end Office PC is not in the same boat. Unlike other users of this game, it does not effect me since I play at home and not at the office. Or at least I should not be....
