freezing

My game is freezing. I have this one mission on the desert island where i am supposed to be attacking a UN column retreating and whenever im like 25% in the game or flying in my mig 25 it freeezes.

I'm starting to think this is the cause of the mission having too many units. Ill make a screenshot when I got home after I release my games expansion pack.

universal - to improve the chances of getting help, please explain on what was happening when the game froze. List every addon/mod you are using, every script, etc. Describe how many units are active etc. The mission goal or a screenshot are of no use at all.

I'd say there is a 99% chance it is due to poorly made addons, scripts or a conflict between any combination of the above. It is very hard (if not impossible) to freeze ofp by using too many default script free units.

Sounds like an LOD related lockup... I used to get them when working with addons.

If I ru a mish with too many AI units my game crashes to desktop, it doesnt freeze. My flashpoint only freezes when I've had my PC on too long.

I read about someone else with a problem like this. A screw had fallen on his graphics card... Or am I getting two stories mixed up?

Also, A little more info might help.
