Klaas 0 Posted January 27, 2002 I had desktop crashes during saving so reinstalled ofp. I made a backup of my user-folder and copied it back to its original destination after reinstall. Unfortunately now the campaign book shows no entries and I cannot resume: neither any completed missions nor load any savegames. Since I totally like the game I really want to continue but not play all the missions I already completed again. Anyone encountered/fixed this problem before? Please help... Placebo 29 Posted January 27, 2002 I had this happen to me once, but it was my own fault TO get around this you can download a completed campaign file from Avon's wonderful site then select the mission you were up to and click revert to carry on from there
theavonlady 2 Posted January 27, 2002 The other alternative to using my copy of the 1985.SQC files is to do a clean install again and only restore your old 1985.SQC file - no other backed up files.
Klaas 0 Posted January 27, 2002 Allright, I'm back in action! Thank you for your support! Esp. The Avon Lady's hp and OFP network are great resources (truly indispensable). I did that left-shift-and-minus-plus-text-trick to get the missions. So I can move on from "Guardian" (my last mission during campaign) now. One minor problem still exists: I did one mission in the editor (a really crappy one - just to test it). This mission is also not available when trying to load it into the editor. Any clues? suma 8 Posted January 28, 2002 Maybe you are using different user name now? What is current content of your users subdirectory?
R. Gerschwarzenge 0 Posted January 28, 2002 Or did you export the mission instead of saving it?
