Recommended Posts

Hi folks, I got a serius problem...

in my La Drang map when I put Gooks in the forest, they don't advance!!

the model of the forest (dense.p3d) is configured in its named properties as:

<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">

map tree

canocclude 0

dammage no

It has a Geometry, a Fire Geo and a View Geo, all convexed and with a mass...

Now my question is:

do I need to add the path to a tree?huh.gif?

:sos:

Everybody answer me!!!!

You need a path LOD.

Have you looked at the forests in the 0.36 demo?

When making forests I normally just cut and paste the path LODs from there and then build up the normal LODs around them.

If you want the path LODs PM me and Ill send you them.

well the prob is that, I put the path, I know how to do that, but even with that, soldiers don't want to move throught them... I tried to delete all those objects (dense.p3d) from my map, and it works fine for me!  sad_o.gif

While in Dak Seang soldiers can move throught the model without path!!!!!

Can it be caused by the fact that in my map some models are too much near to each others?

Yes, there is some problem, when objects are too close

to eachother even with pathlods inbetween.

I dunno the exact distance needed to make them pass

through though.
