Now, the game runs fine WITHOUT DXDLL, but then, it crashes often with system32/d3d8.dll being the problem. But I used to run the game with the DXDLL mod, and I didnt get any crashes. But recently the game stopped working, when I run the exe, the game screen turns black, and it just crashes right back into desktop. I know this is a common problem, but I have tried EVERYTHING.

Funny thing is, it was working PERFECTLY 2 days ago. I haven't made and significant changes since then.

I have tried these things, but still doesn't work:

- Reinstalled drivers/Omegas

- used "-nomap"

- Reinstalled game

- Restarted PC

- Tried uninstalling "Windows XP Application Compatibility" but couldnt find it in the Add/Remove.

- Lower the refresh rate in the cfg file

- Disable EVERYTHING in DXLL

I hope you haven`t copied the d3d8.dll into your windows system or system32 folder.

Quote[/b] ]system32/d3d8.dll being the problem
Quote[/b] ]D:\Operation Flashpoint\d3d8.dll

That would be your problem, the file goes into your OFP/bin/ folder...

Nope.

Quote[/b] ]x:\Operation Flashpoint\d3d8.dll

Is the right destination for the file. I´m running it like that since DXDLL was released without a problem. Also don´t have a OFP/bin/ folder anymore.
