chammy 7 Posted August 4, 2006 I've looked for some here but couldnt find any that didnt require using a mod folder, I am intrested in Blanco's but I can't seem to find his anywhere. Can anyone help? There has to be a few simple ones out there, ones that change the "safe" mode stand fx for the AI and "safe" mode patrol, I wanted to see some walking but with weapons out, or some standing at guard but with either weapon on shoulder or to the side. If anyone can find one or direct me in the right direction I will kiss thee so tenderly.

Sepe 1 Posted August 4, 2006 What's wrong with using mod folders?
chammy 7 Posted August 5, 2006 I could never get them to work right, or I'm just not doing it right  Or I'm lazy, nah, just a little too much work I guess.
jasono 0 Posted August 5, 2006 I could never get them to work right, or I'm just not doing it right Or I'm lazy, nah, just a little too much work I guess. Make a folder in OFP Root. Name it what you want, just keep it simple though. Find your ofp shortcut and right click. Click properties. In the box that says target you will have something like the following: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">"C:\Program Files\Codemasters\Operation Flashpoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE" To activate the mod you need to put -mod=foldername. Replace foldername with what you named the folder in step 1. The target line should now something like this: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">"C:\Program Files\Codemasters\Operation Flashpoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE" -mod=modfolder You must make another folder inside the mod folder. This is for the addons etc. If you want addons you have to make one called addons (well duh ) and then you paste the mod addons in there. Click the shortcut with that line in it. DA DA you have an active mod folder. I just noticed this was off topic, sorry
Sepe 1 Posted August 5, 2006 In order to keep the offtopic going, I'd suggest adding the paremeters -nomap and -nosplash in the end too. -nosplash means no splash screens which is good cause you can't skip the thousand BIS and CM logos that come at start otherwise. -nomap means you can have more addons installed and loaded into the game at time.
