ill buy 2 copies if widescreen is supported

Recommended Posts

as stated, i will buy 2 copies of the game if widescreen is supported properly. are there plans?

i was a little concerned about this after i saw a screenshot from e3 that showed the video options without your typical widescreen reses listed...maybe a little premature to panic but oh well, thats what you get for dumping a grand into your monitor. crazy_o.gif

i know ofp does support widescreen fairly well, but it seems that ppl want to call widescreen (increased fov) cheating. pistols.gif

is this the stance that bis will take on this issue? whistle.gif

ok, im an idiot...i didnt see the other post when i searched for it.

moderator, please do the honors of draging this post out into the back yard and shooting it like a broken huntin dog goodnight.gif

This is probably closing bait. whistle.gif

Search and don't bribe wink_o.gif

But know that video options don't show up if your monitor doesn't support them.  My laptop cannot select 1600x1024 resolution for example.

lol you know you can change the aspect ratio and view angle in the ini and cfg files so that it fits on your wide screen, thats what i did to my OFP.

Hell I'm buying 10 copies to give around to friends.  I did the same with OFP AND OFP:R.

(when it was their birthdays anyway)

Well, personally I would try to buy a copy within the first week of release. wink_o.gif

And then refer as many people as I can by giving demonstrations of the crappy laptop graphics but awsome gameplay.  pistols.gif

Because most people around me are concerned that new games won't run on their student laptops they bought a couple years ago.

There is an existing and active widescreen discussion thread, so why start a new one? Waste of a thread and waste of a moderator's time.
