Dr Jekyll

I challenge YOU...

Recommended Posts

If there are any Myth players in here, they might already be familiar with the term. Those that are not are suggested to read this.

The goal is simple, play any or all missions on veteran WITHOUT losing a single squadmate (for squad missions only, allies outside your own squad is not under this requirement) and archiving AT LEAST 3 gold stars. Do you have the guts for that?

Currently I'm playing the Red Hammer under these rules, it's hard, but I have made it to mission 8 so far.

For proving your accomplishment, take a screenshot of the debriefing screen showing the last page of the statistics and the score for the mission.

In war, it's unrealistic to go for 0 casualties.

You usually have a deadline for missions. So you have to sacrifice lives for speed.

It's easier to sacrifice 2 soldiers to make the enemy run out of their base, so you can attack it. Than to stratigically snipe and sneak around.

It was great. And now there's Myth 3, with proper 3d rendered models. Now there'll be 3d chunks of flesh flying all around the place.

But since were in a game we can just as well try. Doing it would be a proof of your skills. "vetnocas" (Veteran - No Casulties) is not supposed to be an easy way, but a test on your skills.

... and yet that's pretty much what the American public expects of its military leaders.

No matter how dangerous or important the mission, the loss of even one soldier is enough to cause a public outcry. confused.gif

I always try to keep my all my men alive when I'm in one of the missions where we are given command control. Shame that OpFP doesn't seem to give any credit for that feat, but rather, solely for the individual's frags.
